Eddie Howard

Eddie Howard is an independent R&B and soul singer, songwriter, producer, and founder of Copperstreet Records. With a warm, expressive voice and a deep appreciation for timeless musicianship, Eddie creates music that celebrates love, resilience, faith, and authentic human connection.

Born in Pineville and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana, Eddie’s musical foundation took shape early on. Under the guidance of his uncle and mentor, McArther Jones, he learned to play trumpet and bass and developed an enduring respect for live instrumentation and soulful storytelling. While serving in the United States Air Force, Eddie continued developing his talents as a member of the vocal group REAL, beginning a musical journey that would eventually lead to a successful solo career.

Over the years, Eddie has released four studio albums and numerous singles, building a catalog that blends classic soul traditions with contemporary R&B. His performance experience includes appearing before an audience of approximately 6,000 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles and opening for legendary groups including The Temptations and The Whispers.

His recent releases—including “Call My Name,” “The Proposal,” “Through the Fire,” and “You Might Be the One”—reflect an artist who continues to grow while remaining grounded in sincerity, melody, and emotional connection. His album, Back to Love, represents a return to music that values romance, commitment, encouragement, and songs with lasting meaning.

Through Copperstreet Records, Eddie is building a home for artist-driven music—beginning with R&B and soul while leaving room for new voices and genres. His journey embodies a simple but powerful message: dreams do not have an expiration date, and it is never too late to pursue the purpose placed within you.
